Carbon Farming Project
What is carbon farming? It is a method of using our grazing animals to build better pasture and improve the soil, therefor sequestering large amounts of CO2. We are working to bring our sheep into the unused pastures in Sonoma County in an effort to improve the soil, produce fine wool and support a cleaner and healthier environment.
Do you have pasture or open land that you are tired of paying someone to mow? Are you interested in improving the aesthetics of your property? Does it sound appealing to look out your window and see grazing animals, lambs running around - without having to worry about care taking them?
Than contact us and we can discuss the many options available and how we can work together to improve your property and sequester more CO2.
We will come do an initial examination of the property to view the fencing, shelters, water source, etc. We will provide portable electric fencing if necessary. For most pastures the fee is $150 an acre.
